Dear network,
I need an approach in PBI that can fit financial needs, meaning: we need to let the user select the different scenarios to compare in the dashboard - those will be 3 at a time. Available measures are A23, A22, A21, A20, T1, T2, B24, H24, H25... multiple measures.
One required thing is that measures in the dashboard should have aproppriate name, meaning A23 should have the name of A23 and we want to minimize mainteinance to the minimum, meaning that we do not want to create a measure for any new scenario that might come in.
As dynamic measure name is something that is only supported by field parameters, we tried using that approach. However, field parameters are not supported when working with other features - calc groups, ordering, colouring, etc...
Does anyone has any good approach on what would be the optimal way to handle this topic?
Thank you!
