Hey all,
Do you know if it's possible to create a dynamic number of visualizations based on a category in a confine area?
For example - I have a Gauge viz that I want to use, but need to split it into 7 categories in a confine area.
How can we do this when there are users who will see only 2-3 Gauge's and there will be all users that will see all of the 7's (each by he's permissions)
Thanks! 🙂
@Anonymous
Have you tried Row Level security to acheive this?

Hey VijaP,
I'm not sure this is the solution, because every gague is represented by it self, which means that i'll need to create 7 gauges.
But - I know there are some viz the show sevral categories, like Bullet Chart 2.0.1.
Hi @Anonymous ,
I haven't thought of anything other than RLS. The visualization can't increase with the input automatically. You need to create new visuals manually.

hey @v-deddai1-msft ,
But in RLS if i have permissions for only 2 categories it's mean that i'll see the other 5 as blanks, am I right?
If the bullet chart viz was more dynamic and it could change the bars to gauges it would fit perfcetly.
Hi @Anonymous ,
Yes, you are right. But bullet chart is a custom visual. I would suggest create an idea for it in Power BI forumhttps://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas.
