Dynamic formatting based on Selected Value

Hi,

I have a case where I want to display Unit of Measurement Dynamically. For example, If Selectedvalue[ACTIVITY_ID] type , than it should show the values formatted as #0,0 along with unit of measurement. Expected output will be

2,345 | Nos.

Activity_ID is taken from Table_Activity_Master column Activity_ID
Unit is taken from Table_Activity_Master column Unit_Name

Any help is muchappreciated.

Hi @mohammadyousaf
Please check the option of dynamic string formatting.
You can refer to my answer in the linked discussion, which includes Pbix with a small example

If it doesn't help

Please provide sample data that covers your issue or question completely, in a usable format (not as a screenshot).

Hi, I managed to solve the issue by little research.. Here is the dax I used

VAR BaseFormatString = "#0,0"
VAR Measurement_Unit = SELECTEDVALUE (tbl_Activity_Master[Unit_Name], "***")
VAR FormatString = BaseFormatString & " | " & Measurement_Unit
RETURN
