Good morning people, everything fine ?
I'm doing a project where I need the data segmentation to keep up with today's date every day.
Which would be a visualization analyzing the amount of products sold YTD (Year to Date)
So if today is 04/14/2022, tomorrow I need it to be dynamic and when accessing it, follow it to 04/15/2022.
It's possible ?
Solved! Go to Solution.
@ErickReiis , Do you need YTD based on today ?
example
YTD Today=
var _min = date(year(today()),1,1)
var _day = today()
return
CALCULATE(sum('Table'[Qty]), FILTER(ALL('Date'),'Date'[Date] >=_min && 'Date'[Date] <= _day) )
LYTD =
var _min = date(year(today())-1,1,1)
var _max = date(year(today())-1,month(today()),day(today()))
return
CALCULATE(sum('Table'[Qty]), FILTER(ALL('Date'),'Date'[Date] >=_min && 'Date'[Date] <= _max))
If you can default date
YTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESYTD('Date'[Date],"12/31"))
Last YTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESYTD(dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,Year),"12/31"))
You need column like this to default
Date Type = SWITCH(TRUE(),'Date'[Date]=TODAY(),"Today"
,'Date'[Date]=TODAY()-1,"Yesterday"
,'Date'[Date]&"")
Default Date Today/ This Month / This Year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfn05preQYA
