Dynamic conditional formatting for Line Chart

Hi All,

I have a requirement where current fiscal year line should always be showing up with solid, thick and dark red line. I am aware that dynamic formatting for Line chart is not possible as of now but is there a workaround? I tried converting it to stacked bar graph and then added dax measure but it works with only 2 columns (x-axis and y-axis) and not with 3rd column in Legend. But I want to display the line chart using Display Month and Fiscal Year (as shown in the first screenshot) and always display the current fiscal year line with solid, thick and dark red line.

Would really appreciate any suggestions or workarounds!

Hi @Saloni_Gupta 

You could adapt the method used in this previous post.

In your case, you would need to set the Group By Columns property of Fiscal_Year to Fiscal_Year_Flag (or another appropriate column).

Then when using Fiscal_Year as a legend field, formatting selections in the formatting pane will be linked to Fiscal_Year_Flag, and formatting will be preseved based on Fiscal_Year_Flag.

Are you able to get something like that working?
