Dynamic comparison measure between two filtered measures

I have two tables showing sales with dynamic date filters;

I want to create measure to compare the % difference between the values on the left vs right, however I can't get the date range filters to apply correctly. The measure I'm trying to use is the below;

Saless Diff % = iferror(IFERROR( [Total Saless] - [Total Saless Period 2], 0 )/[total saless],0)

I've attached some sample data and how I would like it to work using excel and pivot tables.

Hi, @Nafeesa  Do you have 2 fact tables please? what does your table relationship model look like?
Can you provide dummy data for testing?

There is just the one fact table with the data, presented in two different tables with date slicers.
I've attached some sample data.
