Dynamic Variable to Update SQL Table

Hello All,

I'm working on setting up my data model and am loading data via SQL Server and applying a handful of transformations. The underlying SQL table contains asset data for thousands of customers and is quite large. The dashboard I'm building is intended to look at the data on a customer by customer basis. Is there a way to add some dynamic field / slicer that a user can select that will then only load the data specific to that customer.

If I think about it in SQL terms it'd essentially be like they'd select for that view, where customer = x.

Thanks for the help!

Jake

Hi @jacobkmc. Something like this might help? https://youtu.be/nN9eY21JGNc

Thanks @davehus that solution got me there, I also was able to find this recent documentation which provided some additional coverage:
