I am trying creating a dynamic Earning rank column for different project_no based on different filter selections (investor, region, city, industry, income_date, also the project_no itself), so that I can update rank of rows based on the selection.
I tried different solutions in the community, however, they don't work. All rows in my "Rank" column are 1.
How can I fullfill that?
Here is my table, which name is "Full". And the rank should measure sum of Earning.
Thank you very much!
Hi,
Try this approach. Ensure that the project_date column has the data type of Date (I see the entries are left aligned so they are probably text entries). Create a Calendar Table with a relationship (Many to One and Single) from the Date column of the Data Table to the Date column of the Calendar Table. To your visual, drag Project no and Date (from the Calendar Table). Write these measures
E = sum(Data[Earnings])
Rank of E = Rankx(allselected(Calendar[Date]),[E])
Hope this helps.
