Dynamic Radar chart based on categories in dataset
I have a following dataset which contains an id column (a job role), competency column (skills required to perform a given job role), and a Level column (level of competency requied), and I like to use a radar chart to visualise what are the competency and level required to perform a given role.
However, as you can see, the competency profile differs between each job id.
I started with the MS radar chart, but it shows all the competencies there are in the dataset.
Is there a way to construct a radar chart that is dynamic so if I picked "Typical_APS_Content_Strategist_EL1" in the slicer, it produce a radar chart with competency categories of "ICPM", "INCA", "MEAS" and their relevent levels only, instead of showing all competencies there are in the dataset?

Hi @tasjour ,
I create a table as you mentioned.
Then I think you can use this visual.
You can add a slicer and it will give you what you want.

Thanks Yilong, Is there another free visual that can produce the area, instead of line? xVIZ's radar chart needs Pro license to plot "area".

Hi @tasjour ,
I tried to do a free account login and also tried all the current radar charts I found:
Currently there are no free radar charts in Power BI Desktop as you would like.
They can only do part of what you need, not all of what you want.
Best Regards
