You can try below dax for dynamic comparison:

VAR selectedDays =
    CALCULATE ( COUNT ( Calendar[Date] ), ALLSELECTED ( Calendar[Date] ) )
VAR minDate =
    CALCULATE ( MIN ( 'Calendar'[Date] ), ALLSELECTED ( 'Calendar'[Date] ) )
RETURN
        CALCULATE (
            SUM (SalesTable[SalesColumn] ),
            DATESINPERIOD ( 'Calendar'[Date], minDate - 1, - selectedDays, DAY )
        )
