Dynamic Number formatting for X and Y Axis

Hi,

I'm trying to format the numbers on the y and x axes of my chart.  I have a measure, whose value ranges from 1 to several thousand, depending on the filters selected by the user.  So, I needed to have a dynamic way to format the data values, and I'm using the following formula (screenshot below) to control how the data values are formatted.

My problem is that my formula is dynamically formatting the numbers for the data values in the visual, as you can see below.

But the number formatting for the y and x axes is not dynamically changing with the data values.  Basically, I would like for the number formatting of the axis values to correctly represent the range of the data values shown in the visual.  The screenshots below demonstrate my issue:

How can I ensure that the number formatting of the x and y axes dynamically change to represent the data values in the visual.  I appreciate any support.

Thanks.

Hi,

I think there are several ways to fix this, and when the measure is having dynamic format string formula like what you have, please try to change disply units option for Y-Axis from "Auto" to "None", and please check if it works.
Or, please check the link down below and then you can find some other ways to achieve this.

Use custom format strings in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

I tried something  similar but it just didn't work out.  I would let the axes be and just use custom data labels.
