Hello PowerBi Team,
Is it possible to set the value of an Dynamic MQuery Parameter from the URL filter?
So for example, if we use the example provided here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-dynamic-m-query-parameters can we assign the StartDateParameter via a URL like this - ?filter=StartDateTable/StartDate eq '06/08/2021'
I tried this but I get an error saying there is a conflict in the visual from what is selected.
"There are conflicting filters being applied to this visual. To fix this, make sure the visual is only filtered once by the same column."

Hi, @justin_Walkfam
I think you have a misunderstanding. The dynamic mquery parameter uses filter or slicer to filter data in the report, not the report url. And the url parapmeter you mentioned doesn't need to be set in the report. You can write the query string directly in the url to filter the data. You can directly use the date column instead of the parameter.
