Good morning,
First, my apologies if this has been asked and answered, but I can't seem to find a guide/tutorial for exactly what I am trying to do.
Second: my goal.
I would like to create a single-line chart that has a set range of dates (X Cord - dates some from my data) and the Y cord is changed by a Slicer using a parameter I created from several different data points. Basically, I want to use the slicer to change the Y cord showing a different data type within the same line chart. Below you can see it working (bottom line chart) when I manually add the data point to the chart, but then when I use the slicer, with the parameter, to select a single data point, nothing is displayed. I have made sure the slicer is filtering the correct line chart.
I think the issue might be that the data that makes up the parameter is not summed like it is in the working line graph. But for the life of me I can't figure out a way to make every data point summed within the parameter.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Kyle

Thank you @amitchandak for the reply, but I have seen this before, your videos are very helpful, but it doesn't seem to fix the issue I am experiencing.
I can get the line chart to use the slicer/parameter for the X cord (as you have shown in your video), but What I really want is to sum the from each individual data set, from the picture "Tagged Notes" and display that data for each data set, along the X cord of the line chart.
Here is the parameter below. Is there something I can change to sum each data set so that when I use this parameter for the Y cord it will change the data type and display totals for each date that is my X cord?
