Hello I am fairly new to PBI, and I am trying to create a dynamic table from a DB that contains multiple records with just a handful of dates. When I use the following DAX statement, I get a column with every date for the year. I just want the handful of dates that are in the reference table.
datetable= DISTINCT(originaltable[Date].[Date])
thoughts?....
The formula you have used should bring the unique date values from your original table. Please double check the date values in your table, to make sure the data is correct/ not correct.
Thanks
Raj
The original table only lists 6 dates in that column, so I must be doing something wrong. When I use the function on another column, I get the expected result. Any other thoughts?...
Can you please share the data file where you have these 6 entries. Let me try.
Thanks
Raj
Rajendran,
Thank you for your willingness to help. I would really love that level of assistance, but, unfortunately,
I can't because the data is highly proprietary. But, thank you so much for your willingness to provide support in this way.
