Hi,
I'm trying to bucket one column based on a slicer value selection.
This is the sample base data I loaded.
| item | ASP |
| A | $ 540.99 |
| B | $ 17.49 |
| C | $ 2,015.99 |
| D | $ 224.99 |
I want to bucketise them based on a slicer selection (Example 200 here) :
Expected Buckets:
| item | ASP | Bucket |
| A | $ 540.99 | $ 400.00 |
| B | $ 17.49 | $ - |
| C | $ 2,015.99 | $ 2,000.00 |
| D | $ 224.99 | $ 200.00 |
I have tried to create a calculated field with the slicer value, but that's not working.
And data groups in PowerBI are very static, with no option to take a measure input.
Can someone please help with this ? @Anonymous @amitchandak @Greg_Deckler
Thanks in advance
Are you creating is as a measure ?
yes, because creating a dynamic calculated column in power bi is not yet possible
Maybe it's a PBI version difference, but I cant access your pbix file, and cannot directly create measures with non-aggregated columns
