Hi all
I have a dim table with lots of duplicate entries that can only join my fact table in a many to many relationship.
I created a simple table in my report with most of the information coming from the fact table, however when I bring the column I need from the dim table then it creates duplicates for a few rows in my visual.
This is fine in desktop because the totals on the visual are correct, however when I export this visual to excel and calculate the sum of all my rows then it is much larger than PBI Desktop as the duplicates are present in the export.
I have tried removing duplicates from the dim table in Power Query and the relationship does become a one to many but the export total is still grossly incorrect.
I hope this make sense. Does anyone have a solution for this please?! I don't know what else to try.
Many many thanks
