Dropdown sorting doesn't work

Hi All, 

I have a dropdown that has the following data, and the table with the sorting column by Island_Num. But in the dropdown the sorting is not working. Am I missing something?

Select ISLAND column then change the sort by column to ISLAND_NUM. in the image you shared you selected ISLAND_NUM
