Drillthrough with Bookmarks and Synch

Good Afternoon,

Hoping someone can help provide some clarity and direction.

On Page 1, I have a visual with various sites as my x-axis.  I have a Drillthrough to Page 2 working without issue.

Page 2 I use 100% stacked column charts showing data for that specific site.  All good here.

Next I am trying to set up a button so the User can goto Page 3 which contains Stacked Column charts showing absolute values.

I have synced my Facility Slicer between pages 2 and 3.   But I can't get this step to work properly.    I have the button working to goto Page 3, but the Slicer is not synched and is giving me data for all sites. 

I have tried the methods shown in other threads on this subject, but can't for the life of me figure out what I am missing. 

Hoping someone can help me see the light.  Appreciate any assistance with this.

@rsbin , if you copy paste a slicer from one page to other it will give option sync. or you can try sync slicer option

Thanks for the prompt response.  I have done exactly what you have suggested.  But the Slicer will not sync.

Here is a screenshot.   I am hesitant on showing screenshots of the Slicer due to client confidentiality.  I can get to either Page 2 or Page 3 using Drillthrough with no issues.  But when I goto the next page using a button/bookmark, I lose the selection.

Hi @rsbin ,

What's your setting about the buttom action?

The type should be page navigation if you want sycn slicer work.

If you set bookmark, no matter what you select in slicer, it will always show bookmark visual (consider the bookmark is another page).

I have created a blank button on Page 2 which is bookmarked to navigate to Page 3.  Perhaps this is where I am going wrong? 

I thought I had read in other threads that sync slicer would work between these two pages.

As of now, I have simply left Page 2 and Page 3 as Drillthroughs from Page 1 and am forgoing the navigation between them. This is my stop-gap alternative until I am able to come up with a more creative solution.  Any additional thoughts would be appreciated.

After further investigation and trials it appears that when a Drillthrough from Page 1 is used to navigate to the Drillthrough page 2, the slicer on Page 3 (which is synced) does not recognize that a filter has been applied.  When I test the synchronization without the Drillthrough, the slicers are in fact synced. 

Has anyone come across this scenario? 

So now I just have to determine the best navigation scheme for my User Community.
