Drillthrough Using Rows & Columns

Hi There,

I'm looking to be able to drillthrough based on a Row & Column value.

For example my rows are broken down by Product (ex. Printers, Hardware, Software) and the columns are Expected Revenue columns (ex. Unposted Invoices, Scheduled to Ship, Backlog). I want to be able to select cell, let's say Printers & Unposted Invoices, and I want to drill thorugh to the documents that only contain values that account for Unposted Invoices in the Printers category.

I already have the 2nd page with the drillthrough setup that passes through the Product but it doesn't filter out anything that doesn't have a value in Unposted Invoices.

Is there a way to do that?

Thanks

Hi @Anonymous

I make a test on my site, it can drillthrough using rows&columns.

From your information, you only add [Product] in the Drillthrough field, thus it doesn't filter out anything that doesn't have a value in Unposted Invoices.

Please add [Product],[Revenue ] columns in the Drillthrough field.

My test is as below.

in page 2(which page to drillthrough to), add [Product],[Revenue ] columns in the Drillthrough field

In page1(which page to drillthrough from), click on the cell(value is 1), select drillthough,

then it will go to the page2

If you have any difficulties, please let me know.

It is better to share some data and screenshot so i can know your table structure and what's error you meet.

Best Regards

Maggie

I assume Unposted Invoices, Scheduled to Ship, Backlog, etc are different measures? If that is the case, then it may not be possible to achive what you what using a single DrillThrough.

You have to create one DrillThough Page for each measure, and drag in the respective measure as the DrillThrough Filter. In addition, the Accounts table in the DrillThrough page should have the respective measure as a column. (this ensure it removes rows where the measure doesn't have a value, eg. removing rows which doesn't have a value in Unposted Invoices).
