Drill through at different levels of hierarchy

Hi, I have a Table visual which shows Product Category, Product Name and Sales amount. Drill though page is designed with more product and other dimension attributes on table visual.

On drill through page - drill through filters, i added Product Category. So when users right click on Product Catergory they are taken to drill through page and data is filtered for specific Category. Very well expected behaviour.

Now when user right clicks on Product Name they want to see same drill through page for only one product this time. If i add Product Name to drill through filters, right click on Prodcut Category will be over ridden and always both Product Catergory and Product Name will passed to drill through page. I dont want to create another drill through page for Product Name, as this will confuse users to select which drill through to select when, as they will get to see both

Is it possible to control drill through based on the column right click on a table visual in PBI desktop?

Thanks

Manoj

Hi @manalla

"Now when the user right clicks on Product Name they want to see same drill through page for only one product this time"

What about the tooltip function?

Hi @v-diye-msft ,

Tool top is an option, but he drill through page itself has lot of visuals so prefer to have it as drill through.

Also tool tip can be defined at column level?

Thanks

Manoj

@manalla I think it will work well with matrix visual, as you will have product category and product name on different rows? Try matrix visual.
