Happy Tuesday!,
I have an interesting requirement for a report I'm currently working through where they'd like to see data prior to the selected date range.
I was able to work through the initial requirement with the help of an amazing RADACAD blog (https://radacad.com/previous-dynamic-period-dax-calculation)
When it comes to doing a visualization like the one below it works perfectly:
Where I'm running into a roadblock is how to display a table of detailed information that also shows dynamically the previous periods information alongside the selected date range, I'm unsure how to achieve this or if it is even possible.
The table visual above has four tables:
JobOrderFact Table
Companies DIM
Producers DIM
Producers 2 DIM
I appreciate your guidance and thoughts on how to best approach this.
Have a great Tuesday.
Thank you,
Lance M
Hi @sirlanceohlott ,
Could you please share your sample data and excepted result to me if you don't have any confidential Information. Please upload your files to One Drive and share the link here.
And you could try tooltip to get a dynamic table.
Good afternoon,
I've implemented the tooltip to see if this will meet their requirement as I think it would be the simplest solution.
I'll provide some sample data later this evening as well.
I appreciate your help!
