Hello, good day.
I'm using a slicer to select a date as a drop-down menu. The date used comes from a calendar table that displays values between 2022-01-01 and the current day.
I would like to know if it is possible for the selected segmenter date to be automatically updated to the current date, each time the report is updated, which normally occurs 1 time a day automatically.
On the other hand, when I click on the segmenter in drop-down menu mode it always shows the oldest dates first, that is, it starts in 2022-01-01 and you must navigate until you find the date you want to select, which is a cumbersome job when the date is very far from 2022-01-01, so I would like to know if it is possible to change the order of that field, in such a way that the first date displayed is the most current.
Any solution or comment is appreciated.
Best regards.
Try a RELATIVE Date Slicer
Proud to be a Super User! | |
New Date = Switch( True() ,
[date] = max(Table[Date]) , "Current Date",
[Date] &""
)
And sort this on date column
create a column
date 1= [date]
and sort it on date 1
