Hi,

So im making a dashboard for our installers.

Each project has a revenue, cost (hours for each installer) and materials.

Now i want to see how much profit we get on each project, and in general for each installer.

to show an example.

project X ,

revenue 1000€

cost installer 1 = 300

cost installer 2= 250

materials = 350

So for this project i have 900 total cost and 1000 revenue. 

now when i select installer 1 and i look at this project i have only the cost of installer 1, so 650 cost - 1000 revenue

when i select installer 2 i get total 600 cost revenue 1000, 

wich is incorrect.

any ideas?

In this scenario,  I’m confused how much materials for each installer. Is it that each installers spend 350 for materials or all installers spend a total of 350?  And I create a sample that each installers spend 350. If I understand incorrectly , please post the sample data and the expected output.

1. Create a calculated column.

profit = Table1[revenue] - Table1[materials] - Table1[cost]

we have a team of 2 installers. ( so they both go to the same project)

they need 350€ materials in total to do the job

so to do the job, i need 350 materials +( installer 1) 250 + (installer 2 ) 300= 900€

now when i put in power bi

project name - revenue - total cost

then i make a list with all installers

when i select an installer ( for example installer 1 )  i get all project he was working on.

but in my example it shows 

Project X - revenue 1000 - cost 350(materials) + 250 ( installer 1)

because i selected the installer 1 , the cost of installer 2 isn't on the project anymore.
