Dividing a sum number by different values

Hi,

I have the below summarised data in a graoh:

rebrow31_0-1647523583487.png

The graph shows how many parts were produced on each machine.

For the parts that are produced, they are packed in to stillages. Different machines have amounts of parts that can be packed in to a stillage.

For examples, machine 0, 1, 3 and 4 have 24 parts packed in to one stillage. Machine 3 has 12 parts packed in to 1 stillage. MAchine 2 has 15 parts packed in to one stillage. MAchine 9 has 32 parts packed in to one stillage.

I need to see this graph how it is, by machine, but by the number of stillages packed, nt parts produced. Obviously, if they all had 24 parts per machine I could do a simple division. But, how do I do this division when different machines have a different division number?

Hi @rebrow31 ,

You may refer to my sample to learn more details. I hope it could help you solve your problem.

Stillages:

Create an relationshio by Machine columns.

Measure:

Stillage can be created by each machine =
QUOTIENT(SUM(Parts[Parts]),SUM(Stillages[Amount]))
Remaining parts = SUM(Parts[Parts]) - SUM(Stillages[Amount])*[Stillage can be created by each machine]

Result is as below.

I have made a table with all of the machines numbers and the numbers I want it divided by. How would I go about joining them to the production table?

Hi @rebrow31 , Can you create a table with the target values and join them into the table and work your calculation from there?
