I don't know if my subject title is correct, but I have the following problem:
I have a dataset with the following situation:
I have 4 age groups: 0 - 20, 20 - 40, 40 - 60 and 0 - 60 (which is everything combined).
These groups show me the # of orders and profit %.
When I select the average/max/sum of 0 - 60, it sometimes shows me a different number compared to when I multi-select 0-20, 20-40 and 40-60 (even though you would assume that it would give me the same number as 0 - 60)
I created two tables. Table A has all the info regarding my products etc. where I only selected 0 - 60.
Table B has also the same info regarding my products etc. but I selected 0-20, 20-40 and 40-60.
Table A is correct and I would like table B to be the same as Table A.
When I select SUM at the # of oders columns, it shows me the same amount as Table A.
When I select SUM/MAX/AVG at profit %, it shows me the wrong number (which seems logical).
How do can I divide the measures where I need the profit % by the age groups?
Is this possible in Power BI? Thanks in advance.
Ps. I could send a sample file, but that would be complicated...
@Gjakova ,
Could you please share some sample data and clarify more details about your requirement?
Regards,
Jimmy Tao
Hi @Gjakova ,
If you have a AGE column in Table A, you can create your AGE GROUPS in Table A itself.
Can you screenshot some of your sample data for Table A and Table B?
If this helps and resolves the issue, appreciate a Kudos and mark it as a Solution! 🙂
Thanks,
Pragati
