Distinct Count - Active Headcount

Hello Community,

I am using below measure for active headcount for the month , which is working fine

Current Employees = CALCULATE(COUNTx(FILTER(Employee,Employee[Start Date]<=max('Date'[Date]) && (ISBLANK(Employee[End Date]) || Employee[End Date]>max('Date'[Date]))),(Employee[Employee Id ])),CROSSFILTER(Employee[Start Date],'Date'[Date],None))

However I need to get the distinct count of active employees ..how to do so ?

Pls suggest.

Current Employees = CALCULATE(DISTINCTCOUNT(Employee[Employee Id ]) , (FILTER(Employee,Employee[Start Date]<=max('Date'[Date]) && (ISBLANK(Employee[End Date]) || Employee[End Date]>max('Date'[Date])))),CROSSFILTER(Employee[Start Date],'Date'[Date],None))
