Displaying Data Labels at 3 month intervals

Hi, I have a line chart, and would like to display its data labels at 3 month intervals (to avoid over crowding).

I understand I need to use DAX to fulfill this, potentially using DATESINPERIOD().

if somebody could explain or link me to any resources that explain how I can successfully do this.

Many thanks

New Measure

LabelEvery3Months =
IF(
MOD(MONTH('Date'[Date]), 3) = 0,
[YourMeasure],
BLANK()
)

Replace [YourMeasure] with the measure or value you’re plotting on the line chart

Use this new LabelEvery3Months measure as your data labels instead of the regular measure.
