In live connection to Analysis Server model is there a way where I can configure each page of a report to show the last available data without using the relative slicer?
I.e. I have financial data until a certain period and I want that data to be shown by default when the user opens the report.
Ex:
The latest data available is from last month.
Today when I open the report, with the relative slicer, I see an empty report because there is no data from today. What I want to see is the data from last month and then when a new update is made I want to see that data from default.
By now I'm using 2 date filters, in order to use the between date slicer I have to clear the relative one, this isn't user friendly and I had some complaints from users about that. Is there another way to do this?
Hi @Soares,
Since it's a live connection, we can't do any customization in the connection. How about the Page Level filter? But users have to clear it before using the other slicers.

Dale
Hi @v-jiascu-msft, firstly thanks for helping.
I don't want the users to use the filter pane, I'm hoping that developers implement the "hide filter pane" option because I have all filters like slicers.I use this 2 slicers to date, the top one do the same thing you sugest, I have to clear it to use the other. If there is a way to configure the report to show the most recent data would be perfect.
Best regards.
Hi @Soares,
The requirement in your scenario is more like a default slicer. I would suggest you create an idea here.
There is a workaround. Using the bookmark to record a status. You can restore the status easily by clicking the bookmark.
Best Regards,
Dale
