Hey guys, pretty simple question here (new Power BI user). I'm trying to display some values from an Excel sheet and the column I would like to display only shows column options of sum/average/min/max/etc and not simply the discrete values that are in the column. I've adjusted the data type and format of the column to "decimal number" and changed the summarization to "don't summarize." Any ideas why I still don't have the option to view the exact values in the column?
Thanks!
Hi @robinsonm ,
If you have more than one record for a single axis, Power BI would aggregate these values.
Best Regards,
Jay
HI @robinsonm
Probably you are using the matrix visual, try changing the visual to table.
Probably more than one record is assigned to a given point on the OX axis. Therefore, Power BI has to aggregate these two or more records in some way. Check it out.
I would need to check your details to be sure what's going on. You can always use the MAX function in the list you showed. It will always return a single value for a given point on the OX axis.
