@Anonymous , Dotted lines inactive relation. Two table can have only one active. So others but be inactive.
The other reason. Power bi does it to avoid loops and two paths. You can not reach Table 1 to Table 2 by two paths. By using bi-directional join you may reach to the table itself. Power bi inactivate any such possibility
@Anonymous - That is an inactive relationship. It gets created when there is more than one path between tables. You can use USERELATIONSHIP to use the inactive relationship in a measure.
