Hi all,
I am just starting with PowerBI, so still a steep curve ahead 🙂
As company and security reasons we are not allowed to use import mode and only direct query.
I got an table with seperation markers (space) in the MD table like:
Idle Capacity CA111
Idle Capacity CA112
The end result should be that Idle, Capacity and CAXXX are seperate columns.
I looked into several options on this forum, but I cant seem to find the awnser', no matter what I can't get it to work.
tried several DAX codes but none seem to work or I am doing something wrong.
So please can someone help me with this 🙂
Hi @Hidrolix ,
If you want to spill columns in Direct Query mode, it is not possible to do so.

I have added a small example data.
Goal:
To split the management domain further into the availability zones with Slicers visual in PowerBI
The availability zone's are the Red/Blue behind the management Domain (storage/network/Mainframe)
| Building | Room | Management domain (MD) |
| Building 1 | Room 1 | Storage_Red |
| Building 1 | Room 1 | Storage_Rlue |
| Building 2 | Room 1 | Network_Blue |
| Building 2 | Room 1 | Network_Red |
| Building 2 | Room 2 | Mainframe Red |
| Building 2 | Room 2 | Mainframe Blue |
