I have a DQ connection to a symantic model managed by a different team. We pulled in the whole model, relationships and all.
Since then the original model has changed slightly, in that a relationship has changed between two tables. It still links the same tables but it references a different column in one of them. Trouble is, this has not happened on our side.
As it's a direct query connection we cannot alter the relationship our end, and refreshing the report doesn't change it.
Short of recreating the table ourselves, and linking it to the same table in a different way, is there anything else we can do to force the change?

Hi Sevs
Are you sure you are using the correct terminology?
A Live Connection is when you connect to an existing Semantic Data Model in the servive.
If make changes to the earlier semantic data model then you may need to reconnect as follows ....

Hi @speedramps
I appreciate you informing me of the distinction, but just want understand why, after I connect to a Semantic Model, this is shown when I refresh the data?
This is why I always called these connections DirectQuery, but they are actually connections to other Semantic Models.
