Hi all, this is my very first time trying to use direct query as source. however, I found it super slow when there are only 100K rows in the table. Do you think it is normal since the "Direct query" has alreay 47 sec. May I seek for advise that how to fix it?
Hi @Anonymous ,
Have you tried running the query in any other tool (like SSMS,pgadmin etc) just to check the execution time ? If yes then is it taking a bit of time to execute there also then i would recommend you need to optimize the query. The query execution time also depends on the specification of the data source also.
If its all good then i would recommend minimizing the number of visuals on the page and optimizing your query. The Dax Measures complexity also makes an impact on the overall execution time.
Hope this helps !!
