I want my data set to be refresshed every hour and we know that on the free and pro version the limit is 8 times per day. After reading this thread, it seems that Direct Query is what I need.
Right now I get my data on power bi from PostgreSQL(I connect to CrateDB by using ODBC). I've seen from here that Direct Query doesn't support PostgreSQL.
Is there any alternative solution?
If not, would you think it would be a good idea to write a script where Power BI service is opened automatically and the "Refresh" button is manually clicked by the program every hour?

Based on my research, it is not supported yet currently. There is an idea about that you can vote it up to make this feature coming sooner.
