Hi,
Import from SQL: Currently using "import" from SQL server. Performance is good. Nonetheless, need to limit the number of days to <7days such that data is <10m row. My goal is to consume all 30days data (100GB)
Direct Query from SQL: Tried to use direct query to SQL server but the response is very slow, even loading filters. The database has ~20 columns (100GB).
Direct Query from Azure w HDInsight: Planning to move the database (20 columns, 100GB) to Azure HDInsight. Will this improve the query speed? Also with Direct Query, I will need to move most of DAX to SQL. Will this further reduce the speed?
Que: Will Azure HDinsight, solve the direct query speed issue? If not, any other alternative approach?
