When using Time-intelligence functions under Direct Query mode, you have better have a single Date table and need to note that:
These functions are not supported for use in DirectQuery mode when used in calculated columns or row-level security (RLS) rules.
In addition, if you do not want to use Time-intelligence funcrtions, you can refer this blog which introduces the similar transformation:
