Hi,
I am creating a Balance Sheet and having issues with the account type from the joined chart of accounts table showing up with my totals. I have 2 fact tables joined to the chart of accounts dim table by a unique GL string. When I drag the amounts in my matrix, one of the fact tables shows the account type but the other table shows blanks. See example below.
Account Type | Amount | |
10.00 | Fact Table #1 | |
Expense | 10.00 | Fact Table #2 |

Thank you, JohnnySaade,
I did check this and realized that the fact table with blanks had only 5 segments in the GL string. The GL string in the COA table is 7 segments, so I updated the sql query to pull in the 2 missing segments in the fact table and now the account typ is showing up. TY
Can you please verify that all the GL strings that are in the first fact table are present in the chart of accounts. Usually blanks show up when one side of the relationship (fact table) contains values for a GL string that is not present on the other side of the relationship (dimensions table).
