Dim Shows Cardinality As Many After Remove Duplicates

Hi all,

Using PBI Desktop.
I imported a sheet from an Excel Workbook.

I cleaned everything up including deleting duplicates on Group id to create a dim table.

I tried to join to a fact table, but I receive a warning about M:M relationship.

How is that possible if I removed duplicates?

I deleted the table and repeated the entire process, same response.
What can I do to get the dim table correct so I have 1:M relationship to the fact table?

Thanks,

-w

If there are definately no duplicate keys in your join - are there any blank records that may be causing the link to turn into a M:M

Thanks Dean,

I added a Matrix and added the id to the Matrix.
The Null floated to the top.

I cannot see the null in the id field in PQ Editor: "Limit of 1000 rows reached"
I aaded a column to check the length of the item in the id field and received either 6 or null.

I filtered out the null.
Close/apply.

Now I am able to connect dim to fact.

Thanks,
