Hello,
My bar chart contains some (very faint) dotted vertical lines. I would like to turn those off, but under the gridlines setting, the setting is greyed out and set to off. I can't seem to find any other option to get rid of these lines. Thanks so much for any assistance!
Solved! Go to Solution.
did you turn off you x-axis value ..
if that so, then this is the reason why vertical gridlines is turned off
now if the gridline is not disappearing,
what you can do, enable the x-axis values, then change the color of the grids to white ( = background color) ,
then trun off the x-axiss again ( in caes you dont want to show the x-axis )
let me know if it works for you .
If my answer helped sort things out for you, i would appreciate a thumbs up 👍 and mark it as the solution ✅
It makes a difference and might help someone else too. Thanks for spreading the good vibes! 🤠

Thanks so much! Yes, I did have the x-axis values turned off. I turned them on, which 'ungreyed' the gridlines controls, then turned off vertical gridlines, then turned the x-values back off. This did the trick. Thank you!
