Different values in the same report for different users
I have a report with a line chart visual, the x-axis is a date column and the y axis contains 3 measures based on the date column and each one also uses one more date column (they use different ones).
My coworker and I see different data in this visual even though she sent me her file, there were no changes in it, including the data (i didn't refresh it). There isn't RLS, we use the same version of PBI, the regional settings are the same, and when I upload the report to the service, I get the same data I see in the desktop app.
does anyone has any idea what happened and how to fix it?

The problem was solved,
It seems like using "datesinperiod" function made some problems when switching between versions (it didn't work as is should have been). I just found another way to calculate what I needed.

Hi,
This is what I see:
Meaning I can't click on it, it happens when I enter the report in my team's workspace, and also when I upload the report by myself to my workspace.

Hi @Rons,thank you for your feedback.
Make sure your date column is date type or date/time type, not the text type.
Please try to clear the data cache in Power BI Desktop, go to File > Options and settings > Options > Data Load, then click Clear cache:
Additionally, please specify the data source mode in your report (Import or DirectQuery).
If you are using DirectQuery, ensure that user permissions are correctly set based on the data source.
Best regards,
Joyce

Hi,
It doesnt work and they are all date type.
I did find out my coworker is using a different PBI desktop version than mine, I use May 2024 and she uses July 2024.

Hi @Rons, thank you for your feedback.
We suggest you both get the latest version of Power BI Desktop from the Download Center to compare the result.
Best regards,
Joyce

@Rons Without the screen shots or proper details it's difficult to predict the issue. It would be good if you could some share screenshots or details by hiding confidentials data and elements.
Please take a quick glance at newly created dashboards : Restaurant Management Dashboard , HR Analytics Report , Hotel Management Report, Sales Analysis Report , Fortune 500 Companies Analysis , Revenue Tracking Dashboard

Hi, thank you for your respond, I can't share the data and it would be too complicated to dig into the measures.
As I said, the file didn't change, and it didn't refresh - so I just would like to know if anything else could have caused it (for example, different time settings, even tho we already checked them)
