I have imported a JSON file into PBID. I found one column with the default data type as "Any", and have three types of data in that one column: number with data type as integer, number with data type seems to be text (I cant be sure But I cannot check individual box data type) and a JSON record that can be expanded. I would like to seperate all three type into different columns. I would like help on how I could achieve this. Thanks.
Hi @feasy
Could you tell me if your problem has been solved? If it is, kindly Accept it as the solution. More people will benefit from it. Or you are still confused about it, please provide me with more details about your table and your problem or share me with your pbix file from your Onedrive for Business.
Best Regards,

Hi @feasy
Can you please supply some example data.
Individual cells in a colum don;t have a data type, the data typeis assigned bycolumn and is appliedto everythingin that column. You say that you have a number stored as text and you want that in a separate column to the integer number. Are you talking about a decimal number e.g. 1.23?
If you convert the column to a number type then generally any numbers in it will be converted.
The JSON can be moved into another column but I don't know if you have a Record that contaisn JSON,or if you mean you just have some JSON. Again sample data would be great so know what you actually have.
Regards
Phil
