Different columns based on selection - calculation groups

Hi all!

I want to build a report with a slicer on the top that has 2 fields - 2 different Measures:

  1. Measure A
  2. Measure B

At the bottom I want to have a table visual that shows mutliple columns.

Is there any way to display different columns based on the slicer?

Maybe using calculation groups?

Hi,

I am not sure if I understood your question correctly, but I tried to create a sample pbix file like below.

You can try using field parameter feature in Power BI.

 

Use report readers to change visuals (preview) - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

 

Please check the below picture and the attached pbix file.

Like below picture, you can try to create group inside field parameter.

If I understand correctly you want to swich the measures in the table based on the selection of a slicer. You can do in multiple ways and one easiest way is to use field paramters
