Hi Team,
I have used a line chart where I am using Legend which had around 60 different values and I am showing only the top 5. However sometime I get same color for different values see the circled once in the screenshot. I have set all 8 colors in the Theme to be different however still it shows same colors sometimes.
1) What would be a solution to show different colors for each line?(Instead of not manully applying color to each; as these may change from 60 to 100 next month and so on.)
2) Is there a way we can assign color to the top 5 bucket and not matter what legend is calculated in top 5 the color will be different?

Hi @Anonymous ,
For your first question, when you put some field into Legend box of the chart visual, the displayed colors seems to be the same sometime, while in fact, the colors are different in dark and light for the same series of color .
For your second question, you may set filter in Filter pane to get top 5 data in line chart , then if the displayed colors are similar, you may set distinguished color for every legend in "Data color" option under Format pane. While based on my test, it's usually to return distinguished colors, and you needn't to set further.
