Hello,
I'm running into a strange new problem to me. I changed several things in the query editor, this took place over several hours with brakes in between (Had to work on different things in the mean time and kept the editor open). I renamed a table, added one and combined them.
Power BI now shows a yellow bar mentioning there are pending changes in the queries that havent been applied. If I press Apply changes the load screen comes up and starts to refresh all data. I have some 26 tables that need to be refreshed, at least 8 are through API's with some more than 20k of rows. So loading takes a lot of time. After some time it gives errors saying the model doesn't have a table named xxx (not the real name obviously).
He is correct, but that's because I renamed it. It somehow isn't using the new table names set in the query editor.
When I look in the Data tab in Power Bi, I see the wrong names. When I open the editor I see the correct names.
I also removed some Error tables that automatically were created, maybe this is part of the problem?
I did check some other simular issues, but they seem different. Any idea how can I fix this?

Hi @fox_NL ,
Please try the following steps and check if they can help solve the problem.
1. Clear the cache
How To Clear Cache Of Power BI Desktop?
2. Refresh Power Query: In Power Query, click the Refresh All menu to ensure it’s working with the latest data.
3. Check if there is any queries or measures that reference the old table name, please update them to use the new table name.
4. Reapply Changes: After making sure all dependencies are updated, try clicking Apply Changes again in Power BI.
If the above ones can't work, might need to recreate the table in Power Query...
Best Regards
Well of the error you mentioned is leading to the refresh not completing. This means that the new names have not yet been passed to the data model. So i won't worry about this now.
My recommendation is that you open power query and refresh every single table in there using the refresh preview option in power query, even the helper queries if you have done a folder append.
You will probably find that you referenced one of the queries some where with its old name. This should show you the error on the table the is leading to this.
If my answer helped you solve the problem, please accept it as the solution 🙂
Thank you @khaledHabib90 for your reply. I updated all tables as you described but no error came up. I could update all of them without problems. Any other suggestions?

Your steps still didn't do the trick. I took back a older version of my file that did work and redid my steps but then in one go. It's now working fine.
I think I did to much steps over a to long period of time with to much idle time in between, then also did renames of tables, etc.
Hi @fox_NL ,
It's glad to hear that your problem has been resolved. And thanks for sharing your solution here. It will help the others in the community find the solution easily if they face the same problem as yours. Thank you.
