Difference between Excel fuzzy vs Power BI fuzzy

Hi Everyone,

I know Fuzzy match is available on PowerBI now and I am wondering if this is a better logic(higher accuracy) of Fuzzy than Excel? I used to do it in Excel and if Power BI is better, I would like to switch.

Hi @Anonymous,

AFAIK, current power bi not support direct use specific match symbol in filter.

You can take a look at following blog to know how to use left, right functions with search function to achieve fuzzy match.
