I work for a small team of PowerBI Developers who have gone through all the various training available, from various different sources. We love PowerBI and are finding more and more customers who feel the same way. However, after two years we are still having problems with how best to integrate and work with customers who have their own PowerBI tenant. What I would like to know, if this isn't a 'how long is a peice of string' type question, is what is the paradigm that Microsoft suggest when working with customers? We have one customer with a massive infrastructure, and we ended up getting our own AD accounts within their infrastructure, which meant they had to pay for us to have PowerBI Pro licenses. They didn't want to keep paying for these if we weren't using them, so so for support purposes we weren't sure whether to have one account we all could use, but then have issues with MFA. We have other customers where we can access cloud SQL databases with our own AD accounts but then have to figure out what to do when we publish them to their tenant. Do we ask for our accounts to be added to the PowerBI Admin role? We have also instances where there is one single account that is given to us to access a tenant, but we have three developers that cant share multifactor authentcation. If we develop using our tenant plus desktop PBIX files, is there a way of controlling development using Git Hub or Dev Ops? I haven't seen this? If we develop on our tenant, there will be potential GDPR issues that we can potentially avoid if we access data from within a customers tenant. If I had to pick one thing for advice on its how best to deal with creating new accounts or allowing guest access to developers. Thanks!
Thankyou, I will take onbaord the suggestions from the Microsoft B2B article. i certainly think it will help in a lot of instances.
@Hazelbaiter , Based on what I got. If you are looking for external user Azure B2B and some tenant permissions can help

If have a common solution for all customers and you are the data owner, then you can use Power Bi Embedded.
