Desktop - authentication needed

Hi everyone,

Has anyone noticed a similar issue with internal usage of the Power BI Desktop app?

For several years, there was no problem working with local files without signing in. However, for the past few days, I’ve been encountering a login prompt when changing the Fragmentator to a different type and fliter data. This happens even though I am working only with local data and do not use any Power BI Service features.

Hi @Username123321, did you activate "Translytical Task Flow" in the preview features? Not sure if it's still related, but I saw many people mention the sign-in issues on desktop when that feature was active
