Design Suggestion

Hello,

I was hoping for some suggestion(s) on using Power Bi for mapping. I can upload the file if necessary. I work for the State of Nevada. The State owns buildings throughout the State. The database I'm using was developed in 1995 in Access. There is no referential integrity but I'm able to query and create tables for Sites and Buildings. Buildings are located on a Site and can be 0 to many. Lat/Long is available and I was using the Icon Map by James Dales to show the building # on the map.

This works great but I'm wondering how to layout the page(s) to print each section with a list of the buildings, i.e. building #, name, square footage, etc.

Currently, we create a report in MS Word and insert images (snapshots of Google Earth) with a list of the buildings extracted from the Access database. See page 6 & 7 of this report: https://publicworks.nv.gov/uploadedFiles/publicworksnvgov/content/Documents/FCA_Reports/9962.pdf.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Carol

Might be worth checking out report builder, i see no issue in recreating something like your example. You would need to store your images somewhere, or find a way to link to google earth using your long lat to snap an image

Thank you for your reply. I looked at report builder, seems like a lot of work for what I'm trying to do.
