Derive fiscal dimensions from multiple dates in different tables

We have a standard date table to derive fiscal dimensions which is joined to one of the dates( ship date) in the one of the tables.That gives us various fiscal  columns like period,year ,etc based on ship date.

Now we would like to be able to view /filter the data by fiscal year for a different date(Invoice date) in different table . Is it possible to derive fiscal dimensions from multiple dates from different tables without having to create multiple Date dimensions?
