Hi!
I am calling a REST API which has to main parameters:
1. System
2. Function
For both parameters I have created helper queries which provide all available values. Executing the queries separetaly works fine.
The problem: the available vallues for "Function" depend on the selection of "System". When I open the Parameter-Editor in PowerBI and change the value for "System", the list for "Function" is not updated. I have to close the editor and reopen it. Then the List for available "Functions" is updated.
Any ideas how I can achieve an immediate update?
Thanks.
Joerg

I've found a solution by nesting multiple function calls where I replace the Function-Type and set the meta information "Documentation.AllowedValues". On the web (sorry, I do not find the link anymore) I found following function which adds a list of allowed values to any other function:
setParameterLists = (f as function, allowedValues as list)=>
let
parameterType = Value.Type(allowedValues{1}) meta [Documentation.AllowedValues = allowedValues],
myFunType = type function (select as parameterType) as function
in
Value.ReplaceType(f,myFunType),
